Twins fall pics

I have a TON of updating to do on my blog. Due to a card reader malfuntion I have been way behind. I plan to catch up this week as soon as I get a new card reader. The following pics, except the first two, were taked by Harmony with her cell phone. She e-mailed them to me so I could post them. They were taken on their Birthday which I will have more photos later of their fun day to post. The twins are now 3 years young and fully potty trained!!! YES! Anyway they love having their picture taken and Harmony is a good photographer. Sorry to all those who keep asking me for new pics I promise more to come soon. Love ya all...julee

Rest In Peace

Sadly On Monday August 24 Jordon Larcade died unexpectedly. We are deeply saddened by this loss. He was only 16 years old. Jordon We love you and your family so much and you will be sorely missed. We are praying for you and your family and it will be some time before our hearts heal. You are pure and innocent and you are in Heaven now. We know your life goes on.

To your wonderful Family who we have quickly grown to love, Tony, Judy, T.J., Cory, Kirsten, Emily, and Joey and also Jerry who we did not meet but honor just the same, To all of you our hearts mourn with yours. Your Loss is great and we want you to know we are your eternal friends and will do whatever we can to help you and comfort you. Though the distance is long we are connected forever no matter how far apart. Consider us not just friends but eternal family. All of our love...The Tsoufiou/ Carter family.

Growing Up so fast!

Here are my twins growing up so fast. They are almost three and time has flew by. I love these pics they show their more grown up look and just how beautiful they are. They have an inner light that even shines in these pictures. I am proud to announce Linnea is now potty trained! She has been going pee in the potty for weeks and today she went Poo...YEA! She was so proud she came and got me to show me. We all celebrated. I promised her a new Princess book when she went poo in the potty and that was the first thing she asked me about after she went, she said
"OK mommy I want my Princess book now". She was just glowing with pride and happiness. As for now Larissa is not interested....we'll see. One down, one to go.

Our New cat named Mellow, she just showed up our porch one day and never left. She really adopted us. Larissa was deathly afraid of her and Linnea did not want to be too close either. Over time though Mellow warmed their hearts and now the cat cannot get rid of the twins. They LOVE her TOO much. They always pick her up and carry her around the yard. The pet her at times a little too rough. Yet Mellow just bears it all with patience, she really lives up to her name.

The kids come home!!!

The kids came home August 1st and it was a joyous occasion. We picked the four California sun kissed kids up from the Cleveland airport. They always look like they are so grown when I see them again after two months. We are all feeling so good with kisses hugs and smiles. As soon as we picked them up we headed straight to Aunt Jenni's house for her monthly "teen night". The kids met all their friends there and it was loads of fun. The twins were at Jenni's house waiting for us but they were asleep. The kids were not going to wait for them to wake up they went right in and started picking them up and kissing them. It was so funny because they were so groggy they thought they were dreaming and they did not quite register that brothers and sisters were actually home. Well after a fun time with friends we all headed out to home which was filled with surprises for the kids. They one by one were taken to their newly remodeled rooms. I just realized I did not include pics of the rooms themselves. I will later. Well its good to have them home...home feels like home again. We are back to our BUSY schedule so that is why my blog is behind...

Happy 10th Birthday Liam De'lione Carter

Today Is my baby boys Birthday! I cannot believe it has been 10 years since he was born. I remember it like it was yesterday. Liam was a welcome surprise in my life. He was the only baby I chose to go "natural child birth" with. I remember how awsome I felt afterwards with no drugs in my system. I really think it helped me recover quicker and I enjoyed my time with my Little Liam so much more since I had no postpardom stuff. It was the summer and we spent a lot of time outside just soaking up the sun. Liam has always been special since day one. He was always a MOMMAs boy, I mean litterally. I could not leave him with anyone to watch him he would cry the whole time. Not even daddy could watch him. He was glued to my hip for at least the first two years. Liam Is very funny and he was the joy of our neighborhood even as a baby he was entertaining the kids. They would come over just to play with him and watch him and laugh. Liam was always very smart and he knew he had an audience and would put on a show. Liam was quiet and did not really talk until he was 3 he spent a lot of time just looking things over and thinking. He was much happier the older he got. He is VERY brave too. He suffered 2 broken bones before the age of 3 and he had to have surgery on one of them. It has been a wonderful 10 years. Liam is a joy and will always be my baby.

Forrest Devin Carter Born July 17 1994

The first song on my playlist is my song to Forrest, I called him today and sang it to him. I told him we are dancing to this song when he gets married and we dance the mother son dance.

This is my first year not being with Forrest on his Birthday, I have only cried outloud twice, but inside I am really sad. I miss him. I sent him out a big package for his birthday. He is going to open it with me on the phone. I saved the big present for when he returns. It is very unnatural to be without your children on their birthday. I remember the day he was born, I fell in love with him from the get go. He is amazing and I tell him all the time he has been nothing but a BLESSING in my life. I am so thankful for his wisdom and his strength and his love.

Mya Carter

Singer, Poet, Friendly. Sensitive, Caring, good friend. She is the softness in our home. Mya is my little mother she helps so much with the babies. They love her like a second mom. I always call her my queen, and she reigns surpreme sometimes even with a little attitude. Her strength will carry through the temptations in this life. She is firm in her beliefs and I am so proud of her. I love her warm smile. She looks so much like her late Grandma Marsha, which is such a blessing. Now her dad can see his mom in his beautiful daughter.

Harmony Carter

Fashion designer, Trendsetter, Go getter. Loving, Huggable, smiley. She is the Light in our home. Harmony will go far in life she is determined and will work hard for her success. She is driven and studies hard in school. She likes things organized and neat. She is playful and sometimes has us laughing at her silliness. I am so grateful for her. I prayed for another girl when I was pregnant with her because I wanted Mya to have a sister. I hope she knows how special it is to be a sister and to be a good one. She radiates and we are blessed to have her.

Liam Carter

Artist, Writer, Comedian. Intelligent, thoughtful, cool. He is the truth in our home.Liam is starting at Canton Country Day School this year.We are so proud he was accepted in. He is a rare gem with great potential. He is our little einstein. When he was little he did not talk much he used to play thoughfully and examine things. he was always anxious to get bigger so he could do big things. I hope you never lose your fire to be big Liam. Liam collects build a bears. He also writes and illustrates hilarious comic books. As long as he keeps believing in Himself he will go far. He is ma-ma's heart.

Linnea Tsoufiou

Happy, loves books, Cautious, Girly, Passionate. She is our sweet angel.God bleesed Linnea with a twin now she will have alife long friend who will be so close to her heart. Linnea looks out for Larissa she tries to keep her out of trouble and leads her into trouble too. She moves non-stop when she is awake, and tires mommy out. She is going throught the taking off clothes and diaper phase. Does anyone know of any escape-proof clothes? I feel overwhelmed alot but alos overwhelmed with good feelings for my glorious blessings.

Summer News

The summer is here, and already going fast. Forrest, Mya, Harmony, and Liam are all in Reseda California (LA) Visiting with dad Travis, step mom Marika, and new baby brother Mattias. They are also spending time with cousins and uncles. They are having a great time. We all talk everyday. I miss them tons. I do not breathe the same because 4 pieces of my heart are missing. I am getting lots done here though and trying to use my extra time wisely.
My mom got us ALL a membership at the Massillon Recreation center. She is SO awesome. I honestly do not know how she keeps up with needs of all her children and grandchildren. THANKS MOM!! We have gone quite a bit. The babies are warming up to the water and starting to have lots of fun. I like summer but I do not love it. I prefer fall and winter but I plan to make this a great summer, I might even let myself get a tan. I usually hide from the sun…I don’t want any wrinkles!!!!
